Motorola is never going to be a company that will challenge Apple's leadership, not even with an Android o/s. Why not? Because Moto is a corporate entity that keeps vision and insight several levels below the top whereas Apple is run by vision and insight. Even if Moto creates a great device, neither they nor the Android community are capable of playing in Apple's league when it comes to user experience. I'll keep an open mind, but I need to be convinced with product, not Arrington's bluster. Sorry, but I strongly disagree. Also, why does redlaser's scanner work on my old iphone 3g when you cited that as one of the main reasons shopsavvy didn't port to iphone til the 3gs came out with a better phone? motorola's phone might be good, but "amazing"? mike seems to be the only one who thinks so.
