Local Startup Coverage Abounds!

As soon as I mentioned to my partners in SpringStage (our startup community building effort), Micah Baldwin and David Cohen that our local efforts were getting some press, they pointed me to an article from yesterday titled ‘Startup Town’ by Ben Canocha.  The article indicated how David (and many others) have helped turn Boudler into a serious startup community.  Great article and amazing story of how a sleepy little town was turned into a technology mecca.  Ben explains, “Boulderites leveraged blogs and podcasts to channel a natural spirit of self-promotion and evangelism for themselves and their community.”  Ben Casnocha is the author of My Start-Up Life: What a (Very) Young CEO Learned on His Journey Through Silicon Valley (Jossey-Bass). He is also commentator on public radio’s Marketplace and writes a blog on business, books, and ideas.
