Venue is important!

This is the location of my first startup. We began on the second floor in the back in about 1,000 square feet. Ultimately we expanded taking over the entire second floor (total of 2,000 square feet) housing around 25 employees before we left. It was crazy fun. Folding tables and scores of power strips. Our new coworking space got me thinking about how ‘where you start your startup’ can set the tone for your business. Focus on the service/product and don’t worry about your space. Worry about the space AFTER you have either customers or investors. I wish there had been a coworking space back then…
