Raiders of the Lost 3G iPhone

June 6, 2008

MacTalk is reporting that Apple is sending out 3G iPhones under NDA. Recipients of the package are notified by a little note “SUBJECT TO TERMS OF NDA, DO NOT OPEN UNTIL TUESDAY JUNE 10th 2008″. The problem is vision impaired folks can’t read that little note. Some blogs are suggesting these packages are fake, we can attest that they are real as we received one ourselves!

We decided to find out exactly what is in these ADA violating boxes. Think of it like Raiders of the Lost 3G iPhone!

We sliced open the secret box (cue the spooky music):

With the room shaking and strange noises from the box we opened it:

DO NOT OPEN YOUR BOX UNTIL JUNE 10th, IT IS TOO DANGEROUS. Even Harrison Ford wouldn’t open this box! I can’t wait for the iPhone!!!

Of course, the original is a fake, but I couldn’t resist… The fire in the office actually did create a bit of excitement. Don’t light fires in your office…
