MSFT offered $40/share for YHOO!

Barron’s is reporting that a judge unsealed the shareholder complaint against Yahoo and that it reveals that Microsoft offered $40/share in January 2007.  OMG! $40/share?  The complaint details Yang and Filo’s interest in keeping Yahoo independent and reveals the lengths they went to keep Microsoft from buying the company.  This looks like a real loser for Yahoo, hopefully they will sell to Microsoft before the lawyers get all of the money.
