Social Intelligence Meet-Up?

May 14, 2008

Christopher St. John along with a couple of Facebook Dev Garage alumni are putting together a “Social Intelligence Meet-up” in early June. The purpose of the meet-up will be to gather like minded people (i.e. people who have a serious interest in developing products and ideas around social networks) to share what they’re doing and in return get feedback and/or help. Christopher is looking for a good mix of business people, developers and designer-types.

Ideal outcomes of the meet-up would be connections between people with ideas, with developers who can execute on those ideas and perhaps a business person or two to get it off the ground. The target is a weeknight the first or second week of June. We are offering the INFOMART (High Tech Bar) as a venue, but we are open to alternative dates and locations.

Interested in helping us get this meet-up started? Email  Christopher St. John and he will get things rolling (I suspect Christopher will have the wiki up soon and I will link as soon as he does).  Oh and I just made up the name - surely someone else will come up with something better…

Damn. I wish could have made it, but I can’t get to Dallas from Austin on a Tuesday.
