SocialTones Progress Report

While skiing in Steamboat I had an idea for a ‘gravatar for ringtones‘ service I called SocialTones. I wrote about the idea here and almost two weeks later we put together a five person team to begin hashing out the idea. This afternoon the team met again and we are pleased to report that a) a deal has been struck, b) code has been committed to the SVN and c) we have a logo! To start we are building SocialTones for Google Android with hopes of entering it into Google’s Android Developer Challenge II. Next we will attempt to port SocialTones to the iPhone. Anyway, we are a long way off.
