Please allow me to post a brief eulogy about my ONCE great state of Ohio, now less than a shadow of it's former self. Ohio, to those of you who insist on using nothing but profanity to describe it, (thus showing how much class some of you people really have) USED to be a great place to live. I was born in the early 70's, and as a young child I got to view first-hand the death of Northeast Ohio,beginning in the late 70's with Youngstown. The rest of the state would follow shortly thereafter. Sadly: a total reliance on the steel, auto, and rubber industry……..a willingess by politicians to attract illegal immigrants (mainly Mexicans and Somalis), an ungodly state tax rate, and an unwillingness to adapt it's industry base have contributed to destroy my home state. These are just a few of the major contributing factors.

R.I.P., Ohio. Your death has been one long, agonizing fall for me to watch over the course of my life.

Klumbis, Ahia, really DOES suck. It is only growing (not booming) due to land incorporation and bloated goverment. Businesses ARE moving out of Ahia because of high taxes. The entire state–including Klumbis—IS falling apart. The state needs to wake up before it is too late!

This place is so terrible. I was born here but grew up somewhere else and then had the wonderful opportunity of my parents moving me back. The place is a cesspool of deviants. The Obama supporting liberal blacks in this state are terrible on one end (http://apnews.myway.com/article/20091015/D9BB7CGG... and on the other end you have wealthy white people who are corrupt like the first person states. It lacks for everything. I have read so many Forbes, Sperling, etc. reports that rank Ohio in the last 5 states in education, employment, crime, poverty (thanks Cleveland!), etc. The only thing I have seen Ohio lead in is taxes and piss poor weather! They were third in the nation at one point. I can't wait to move. We have our house on the market now and are heading to God's country…Texas. I will go and never come back to live. I promised my wife that after we leave, the only time I will come back to Ohio is for my work and the one week per year (can't even guarantee that) trip so my daughter can see her grandparents.

Good riddance Ohio!

So I moved to this dump of a state 2 years ago. I’m from az and have lived in san diego and seattle. If there is a worse state to live in I can’t even imagine what it must be like. Most of the cities here are filled with run down and or closed buildings and poverty stricken neighborhoods. I would rather hang out in compton or watts than most of cleveland… Seriously! There are no jobs,the weather sucks, and the state is filled with lazy uneducated people who can’t stop complaining about the loss of manufacturing jobs. Wtf get over it. Those jobs are never coming back. Why would anyone pay your union wages when 90 percent of illegal immigrants on the west coast can do the job cheaper faster and better while not complaining. Hell most of them get a higher wage than this state seems to want to pay now.
I could go on forever but let me just touch on a few more things. The schools here suck even though a percentage of lottery sale go to help fund them and every hill jack in this state seems to play. How does that work. Look I don’t want to wait behind ten of your broke asses in the store as you spend your welfare checks on scratcher tickets. I just want to fill my car! The roads here are beyond crap. Look patching the road 6 million times isn’t fixing anything. Its making it worse!
Casinos…. Let it pass already if they create 2 jobs that’s better than none. Is az the indians use to be as poor as most of you here. Now they have casinos on the res and guess what… They’re not as poor, their communities have improved and the residents didn’t become gambling addicts. Also ohio… You don’t seem to have a problem with gambling when it comes to lottery tickets not do you. Lastly next time you drive through a area in this state that looks like its a 3rd world country and you know you will… Realize there’s such a thing as emanate domain. The city can tear down and build on that property if they give the owners fair market value for the property. Which in this case would cost next to nothing. Who knows if you get rid of the ghetto investors might want to build there. But then again it is ohio we
are talking about.

since moving here i've found that watching my fetal alcohol syndrome suffering co-workers attempt to do the most simplest of procedures is like watching a toddler try to put a square peg in a round hole! these ahian's seem to think that that they are all 80k a yr. people and don't seem to realize that they are the cancer that is killing thier own companies. the unaflicted young people all flee for other states as soon as they reach age, while the rest seem to go to ahia state to become city planners and engineers that will surely design even more fucked up roadways. I'm counting the day's till I can run from this shithole fucking state and will be all to happy to pay thier lying/cocksucking hiway patrollman for the speeding ticket I will surely obtain on my way out! In 2006, without ever visiting Ohio, I decided to transfer my sick wife back to the state she was born so that she would be with her family until she passes. when she could still speak she had often stated that she would rather suck burro cock for pesos than return to this shithole enviroment that so many mutant's call home. My optimistic sway convinced me that this move would still be the right thing to do, after all, HOW BAD COULD IT BE ? Now I wake up every morning and punch myself in the balls twice just in case I miss. One day this nitemare saga will be over and I'll be able to leave all these negative, worrysome, non-driving, overcautious, hesitant, miserable, backwardassed, cocksucking degenerate retards behind!!! I hope you all become infertile and sterile so that I can die happy knowing that at least there will be a few less of YOU worthless MOTHERFUCKER'S breeding you're diseased personalities into this already fucked up world! I agree with Alex, i have'nt meet anybody here in ohio that can help you move up in the world. Only down! I 've been here since 1998. Moved from houston, which is mexico! And talk about humidity! Houston has nothing good to offer me, thats why i left. My family is still there, don't know how or why. I've tried really hard to make it in ohio, but without help, it's impossable. Who you know plays a big part in our lives. But when you meet people who only take advantage of you and your skills, you have nowhere to go but down. So here i sit broke and jobless, wishing i had the money to walk away from this gloomy state. Honesty is not the best policy, how do you think our country was built? DISHONETLY! Thats the only way to get ahead anywhere…being dishonest. Don't get me wrong, i'am not a dishonest person, i should have been though. Might have more money to live.

I totally agree with you, my husband and I had moved from here in 2003, and had to
come back because of a death in his immediate family, we have tried to get out of here since,
and cannot. so if you leave don't come back here because it will be worse than it was before you left, at least that's how it was for us.

Hopefully,one of us will get a job out of state and leave, and personally I won't ever come back,
some really really bad experiences here, I feel that the criminals are running Columbus Ohio,
and unless you know people in high places you will be treated badly, that's like they used
to run the KKK.

I totally understand how you feel.
