Oh, update for Gene: I use NetNewsReader and I get the full post. That is strange, but I have received your complaint from several people. I never checked it, but in my reader I get full posts - i.e. the lastest post where I used the 'more' tab was delivered fully. Strange. Scott and Mike are looking at it. Can you tell us what browser you are using?

Alex,

This is one of the reasons I thoroughly enjoy working with you, your companies, and your partners. Despite everything, you consider the human side of issues. It is easy to get ahead of oneself and overlook this; shareholder considerations, short gains, personal motives, and emotions are things which often trump humanistic values and concerns. In business it's hard to draw the line between ethics, personal life, and profit, I know, because I make mistakes myself! Thank you and your family for sharing your experience.

Mike - thanks! Gene, yea I agree, it is annoying. Basically, the new theme I have (i.e. new look and feel of site) has a 'featured' section on the homepage. The only way to limit the size of posts that appear in the featured section is to include the more insert. I have asked my guys to see if they could make sure my feed ignores the 'more' insert so that I can use it exclusively for featured posts.

Alexander - been a subscriber of your feed for a while now and really enjoy your writing. However, starting in December, your feed started intermittently sending out the first paragraph with 'more' at the end. As a rule I usually just unsubscribe from feeds that require me to click through to read the entire post - but in this case I'm not sure if this is intentional or not since it doesn't happen every post. Hopefully you can change back to sending out the whole post via RSS, your you'll end up with at least one less subscriber. Thanks.

Little I could add that you didn't say here, but a hearty AMEN!!!

When we were deep in the shit I wouldn't let any staffer join us unless they got permission from their spouse thrice over.

And April running our home and personal finance is one of the biggest reasons we survived long enough to be bought.

Fellow Entrepreneurs: Heed what Alex says...
