Houston Group to Watch: TTEA

January 14, 2008

Sarah N. LakhaniSarah Lakhani, an associate at The CapStreet Group in Houston, invited me to a new organization called The Texas Entrepreneur Association.  Sarah explained, ‘The group’s focus is to promote networking, skill development and community outreach to help and inspire new entrepreneurs.” From the website:

The Texas Entrepreneurs Association (TTEA) was officially established in 2007 by a small group of aspiring entrepreneurs residing in the Houston area. What began as a common interest among friends soon became a passion that has grown into one of the first entrepreneurial based networking organization in Texas. The Founding Members created TTEA to foster an environment that would help aspiring entrepreneurs all over Texas build their network, develop their business skills and knowledge and give back to their respective communities.

Sarah, who serves on the board of the TTEA,  is a fellow Longhorn.  If you are an aspiring entrepreneur in the Houston area I suggest you contact Sarah through the TTEA.  Let me know what you think.
