One year later: Slingbox for Mac

I bought my Slingbox more than a year ago without realizing it didn’t support OSX. Finally, the public beta Slingbox client is available for download here. Now where did I put the Slingbox… [update: I can't get it to work - will pay someone to set it up. Had our guys out to my house and they can't figure it out...HELP!!!]

I am excited to announce we have recently posted the eagerly anticipated - and unfortunately late - SlingPlayer for Mac OS X. I apologize for the length of time you’ve waited for this release but I hope you’re as excited to receive it as we are to post it. So without any marketing speak - which is really tough for the Marketing Dude - here are the specifics you need to be aware of regarding the first SlingPlayer for Mac OS X release:
1. This version supports Macintosh OS X 10.4 ONLY. To be notified when the beta release including Mac OS X 10.3 support is available please click here.
2. The “skin” or look and feel of this beta release is decidedly “Windows-like”. Our first priority is to evolve this into a full Macintosh experience. We decided not to make you wait for us to do this but ask you to believe that the experience is going to rapidly evolve into something you’ll be more comfortable using.
3. Many of you may be using an Apple Airport Express. You may need a home network router with an available ethernet port to connect the Slingbox to the Internet or your home network. Please see this support article for more information .
