The HR Dept. of this company is ridiculous. In the 3 months I have worked with them, they don’t pay for the accurate hours, they lie ridiculously about when to expect checks. On more than one occasion I have seen them issue checks with less hours then employees have worked. Even on a corporate level they have trouble providing health insurance. They recently lost their payroll person and have delayed their commission checks by over a week to people during Christmas time. I am hardly a disgruntled employee, this isn’t my living expenses or disgruntled wouldn’t be the word for it. I have no contract that silences me for any reason and I wish they would send some legal crap to me because it is they who are in the wrong. It is sad that someone in their payroll department can’t deduce 5% of a total and then deduct FICA/SS/MED from it. There is really no excuse but it does imply they are not professionals by any stretch of the imagination.

Sounds to me like all they just sit around and pound on their giant dix and rip people off all day fer fuck sakes..

It is crazy that I stubbled across this information. I am a former employee of this tyranical, communistic company. I joined the company with a Master’s Degree in Sport’s Management and an Undergraduate in Business Administration. While working for esports partners I was the Event Manager for them at the University of TN. I just want to put that out there so my next comments are looked at with earnest consideration.
At first “I drank the kool-aid” but soon found how sour and vile it truely was! I could go on and on for days about how ridiculous Michael and Rochelle are but I wont, it isn’t even worth it. They will look you right in the face and lie to you and whoever they have to. While working at the University of TN, numerous times I was asked to falsify our numbers to the University and blately lie to University officials. Also, while there NUMEROUS times payroll was late and sometimes did not arrive until Tuesday! (Friday was supposed to be Payday) On the Friday before MLK Holiday, paychecks never arrived stranding numerous student-employees for the long weekend. I personally loaned numerous employees money just so they could go home and see their families. In a nut shell, employees were treated horribly and continously used and disrespected. So I beg of you please think long and hard before joining such a fake, tyranical corporation. I say these things not out of bitterness, but as a warning to those considering. The only good thing that came out of my situation was a REAL LIFE EYE OPENING experience to how shaddy, ruthless leaders of some companies can behave. Wow, No thanks McKay I don’t want another glass of Kool-aid! In closing these remarks come from a young man deemed by Mr. Mckay as his “Golden Boy”!!! I only wish more franchises would research more indepth!

It is what it is……You must read all comments. I worked day end and day out. Never got my bonus that was promised and did not have time to save the email that was sent when it was promised prior to being released. I thank you for the job experience bc I now know how a business is to be ran, but I regret that I missed my family bc I devoted so much of my time, but got nothing back. Worked from home; came in on ice days; even opened weekends. I enjoyed what I did, but was treated like nothing.

MM & RC are not driving the bus anymore …CFO & CIO are the new drivers…things are changing for better. If things are really changing then sounds to me like MM & RC were asked to get off the bus?

I was hired on the spot after an interview with eSports Partners. I insisted on taking a day or two to think over the well below market offer that they made me. I agree with previous posters who question eSports Partners integrity. I got a bad taste in my mouth about the company, after they tried to use car salesmen-esque tactics to get me to accept their offer. After further negotiations, I accepted, the opportunity to work at an NFL licensed sports merchandiser was very attractive, even if I was agreeing to a HUGE salary/standard of living reduction.

Anyway, after my first day, it was apparent that many of the employees of the company were bitter. The things they said about the company and its leadership were shocking. I never been around a group of people so readily interested in throwing their team under the bus. Most of what I was hearing was only confirming my gut reaction after interacting with Mr. McKay. Needless to say, I resigned from the position shortly after, and after reading this blog and the comments, I'm glad I didn't waste any of my time investing in a future there.
