Liz Gannes becomes GigaLiz!

When Om Malik announced he was going to start his own venture, GigaOm, we joked with Liz Gannes, then a writer for Red Herring, that she should become GigaLiz (i.e. that it might be time to leave Red Herring and get in the game like Om). I am excited to say that Liz is leaving Red Herring (today) and actually joining the GigaOm team (next week). She notes, “…Om will not be changing the name to GigaLiz just yet.” I am sure she will have a huge impact on Om’s team and we wish her all the best. Congrats Liz!
